Not as easy as it seems

Pros

You work until work is done. So the faster you work the shorter the work day with the same pay.

Cons

You have to be extremely good to get paid the claimed 15/hour. They don't train you very well and tell you not to move things, but will yell at your for not doing so if a customer complains. You are responsible for everyone you work with. So if they do a bad job, you get in trouble too.

Pros

If you are going to be successful you need a few things to align just right. First, you need a Owner and management who bid, schedule, and provide equipment well. If you can get enough well paying jobs given to you, and you have good training, then making $30+ an hour shouldn't be a problem after 2-3 years, I averaged a little more than that (including drive time). You will usually work much less than 8 hours a day which is a pro/con (Average workers make $100-$180 by the end of the day). Making that kind of pay, without a 4 year college debt isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, so you and your team have to be dedicated. The owner I worked for also had some hefty benefits (compared to the rest of the industry) including health care, dental, paid vacation, and paid holidays. The majority of Fish franchises don't touch high rise, which is a pro since those cleaners make little more or even less than the guys on the ground.

Cons

It's a fast pace and tedious industry, most do not make the potential earnings. Seasonal up and downs in the amount of work (Depending on the owner and the location). It's downright dirty, can be physically demanding, and can also be dangerous in certain conditions. Favoritism is easily played out.

Pay isn't really $15 per hour

Pros

Get to go to cool places like per se an airport.

Cons

You get paid by commission which basically you get 28% for every cleaning you do. Also mileage reimbursement isn't really that great I mean come on .10/mile.
