Pros
You will ALWAYS be busy. Being the manager, you have a lot of autonomy on hiring a quality team. If you do have a good team, you generally don't have to work much overtime.
Cons
The pay isn't exactly that great, comparing with competitors. There are some entry level positions that paid as much as AM at Five Below. The store manager was the only salary member, which meant that if the store was messed up or a lot of freight came in, he would probably be the one working insane hours unless the hours were there to add people onto the schedule... which was almost never the case. Hours are TIGHT, unless you have a really great team that will work hard for you. You WILL be working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
