      Good to work at, but they need to fix some things

      Pros

      Great discount, Hard work usually means more hours, able to help customers more than a big retail store

      Cons

      Overhiring, Hours sometimes are based on email capture, Promotions are handed to wrong people (there are exceptions, sometimes the right person gets it), Stores get same amount of hours, not based on store volume

      Treated poorly (the way the DM and regional manager speak to the GM and AM) Hours always being reduced Not the right products always being sent to the store

      Pros

      Decent Pay...Great products...Good operations. Some people in home office actually care.

      Cons

      Went public and moral is awful. DM's VP's not qualified at all...it more about who you know then your retail qualities. Seems like owners have trend of building big business..going public quickly...making ton of money and then bailing out. Past company is Zanny Branny...went under...Encore books...doesnt exist, but they get richer and richer. Just sad for cureent employees working so hard!
