Pros

The pay was on point. You start out making $14.50/hr & after taking numerous tests & courses you'll make $18/hr. I got hired when I knew almost nothing about AudioVisual set up. I ended up learning a lot from this job. However, it quickly became repetitive & nothing was a challenge to me anymore. My next hurdle was learning how to be a very responsive in room AudioVisual tech. Management did not let me achieve it though. I got paid holidays and sick leave as a part time employee.

Cons

Not much room for advancement in company, clients ALWAYS come first even if they lie about you, tattoos & piercings are not allowed, boring (hurry up & wait), etc.

Thank you for your review, and we are delighted to hear that you participated and excelled in the Five-Star AudioVisual Training Program, as we truly want to invest in our employees knowledge and potential to succeed. Additionally, we are sorry to hear that you feel as though there is no opportunity for growth, as we are definitely a company that prefers to promote from within. Furthermore, we are delighted to hear that you have challenged yourself to be a responsive, upbeat and knowledgeable in-room technician, that is exactly the kind of initiative we are looking for! We truly hope that you continue to learn and develop within our company!
