Nice company, good pay relative to other firms, big projects.

Pros

The firm has a nice office in a good location. The work atmosphere is good. The people are very nice. Company parties are held often and are fun. Overtime is reasonable and work/life balance seems to be respected. President is awesome -- everyone admires and respects him.

Cons

There are periodic layoffs which cause unease among the remaining staff. It goes in cycles but, in general, people are let go pretty regularly.

They don’t care about their employees all the same way - there are favorites and it shows. Moving forward isn’t on their mind - they have done it this way for years, why change?

Pros

Diversity in project work across multiple industries and locations.

Cons

Required return to office mandate, with zero flexibility. Need to take PTO for any reason needing to leave the office (sick child, appliance delivery, etc). No longer a friendly employer for working mothers. Reverting back to how the predominately male-dominated firm was operating 15 years ago. CEO Laura Serebin lacks vision and people skills. Morale among employees is very low. Lay-offs occur sporadically without communication, leaving everyone fearful. Leadership team has only ever worked at Flad and is in desperate need of new ideas.
