Pros
Senior management has realistic expectations. Sales teams have learned not to sell something that doesn’t exist. Implementation teams are full of intelligent, hard-working people who are willing to work with developers to find solutions. Dev teams consist of brilliant engineers who produce fantastic software. HR, Finance and other support teams bring it all together in an effective whole.
Cons
Not always using the “latest and greatest” technology - instead, relying of “tried and tested”. Makes the job easier and less stressful, but not so great for the shiny CV.
