Pros

- Great company for entry-level professionals to get their foot in the door and gain experience in the tech and data center industry. - Collaborative teams and supportive coworkers who are willing to share knowledge and help you grow. - Opportunities to learn and develop foundational skills that can boost your career trajectory. - Unlimited PTO and Sick Time*: Managers will tell you it's not actually unlimited and limit you to 4 weeks a year.

Cons

- Recent WFH Policy Changes: The new work-from-home policy has severely impacted employee flexibility, particularly for those who have been productive and successful in remote roles. Employees feel "shafted" by these changes, as HR's response has been dismissive, effectively saying "tough luck" and urging employees to adapt without meaningful discussion or accommodation. - Below-Market Pay: Compensation is notably below industry standards, which is frustrating given the above-average expectations placed on employees. Many feel overworked and underappreciated in comparison to peers in similar roles at other companies. - High Expectations: The workload and performance standards often exceed what is typical for comparable positions elsewhere, leading to burnout and frustration. - Poor Communication: Leadership’s rollout of policy changes feels disconnected from employee concerns.

Flexential Response

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. It’s clear that you care deeply about your role and the overall culture at Flexential, and we appreciate that time you took to share your experience. We’re proud of our commitment to Hybrid Work, which has been a maximum of two days a week and takes into account both commute times and distances for our local staff. While other companies are going into the office 4 and sometimes 5 days a week, we’re confident that this is the best approach and has taken into account a lot of feedback from our employees across the country. We also work hard to pay competitively in a way that is lucrative for our team and keeps the company financially healthy both in the short and long-term. For workload, we’d encourage you to have a conversation with your manager directly on what may be creating a feeling of burnout and dissatisfaction for you. Set up time with your leader to discuss and come up with a plan that supports you personally and professionally.

Pros

-Lots of fantastic people on all teams at Flexential Professional Services (fps). -Interesting work that allows you to use technology that is extremely relevant in the industry. -It's a fast paced environment but not overly stressful. You get to learn a lot, very quickly because of this. -They actually let you use your unlimited pto and would encourage you to use more (I had family visit and was told to take 2 extra days off to decompress) -Pete is a great boss who actually cares and works hard. Really miss him, he's awesome. -Jason is the VP (basically the head honcho at fps) and actually a pretty rad guy. I enjoyed talking to him and he was very courteous during my departure. -Working remote. -The DevOps team was always trying to improve. E.g. improving scrum processes, growing the team knowledge, working to make documentation better, etc.

Cons

-Low pay. -Willingness to higher new employees with no experience for at least15k more than you make while also expecting you to train them. -Honestly I don't have many cons for this place.
