- Amazing, world class engineers that you can learn a lot from. - Brilliant designers and a product with a rich design history. - Happy, welcoming environment.

Cons

- Decision making process is unclear. There's no consistent path to have an impact on the product other than being in a specific circle. - Company emphasizes staying the same an not upsetting existing users over innovation.

Pros

Everyone is working on something important. Lunch and dinner service, healthy snacks. Good work life balance. CEO is very genuine.

Cons

No yearly bonuses. HR only recently developed structure for promotions. Seems like compensation is only given to people that have offers from another company and are considering leaving.

Terrific and very talented team that's dedicated to producing high quality products and excellent user experiences. Skilled, charismatic CEO who has a stellar reputation in The Valley

Cons

Flipboard is basically a family-run business. The CEO and Marketing Directory are married. In day-to-day terms, this has little impact on the workplace culture. But in many ways, many strategy decisions happen behind closed doors, so it can be challenging to have an impact. This also tends to slow down the product development process, which makes the company less nimble than it should be.
