Pros

- great product, I love using it every single day - management and founders are super-smart and driven with proven business records - interesting problems to solve and scalability challenges in engineering - somehow we handle many technical challenges with little stress and anxiety - many of my collegues became friends - company culture encourages innovation - company culture is open

Cons

- we can use better perks (but this also means we are not spending money as if there is no tomorrow) - it would be interesting to see how we handle company scaling in the next year or so; we are starting to become a large startup - will be challenging to keep the paste of innovation - market might be entered by large players - need to become more driven by data (we are making progress)

Pros

Cool product. People who use it seem to like it. When I tell people I worked at Flipboard they think I'm cool.

Cons

Usually pretty boring work. No regular release cycle. People emphasize talking more than building. Process rewards big talk rather than action. Ideas seem to get stuck at the ideation stage.
