      - largely free to attack problems as you see fit - pay is competitive - “unlimited” PTO

      Cons

      - engineering is largely ignored in company Kool Aid sessions - tech debt grows quickly because one-off hacks are preferred over building sustainably - “bias for action” has been translated to “run with your first idea, no matter how bad” - upper management doesn’t really care about your ideas - most product decisions are whatever will make the next sale - quality software and Flock engineering are a Venn diagram of two distinct circles
