      high-performing, transparent leadership, inclusive of employees - I have a voice, expectations are clear from day one, student-centered, mutual respect

      It's always there-they tell you that on the way in. It's demaning, yet so rewarding. Love it or leave it.

      there are very dedicated people who are working long hours to help the school succeed.

      Pros

      You can work flexible times within reason. You build great relationships with students and parents. You meet some awesome teachers!

      Cons

      No down time. Quotas...students= $$$$ no matter what they say. Assignments "tied" to standards...well not really and many in curriculum don't understand backwards planning or the difference between standards and course descriptions. Competitiveness destroys collegiality as everyone is often out for themselves.
