Pros

Depending what position you hold, pay is mostly in line with where it should be. There are annual increases that usually come with the jobs.

Cons

As far as training goes... Minimal would be the way to describe it. You mostly get "Thrown to the dogs". Management style...there is no style. Micromanagement is the word for the day. Upper management won't let supervisors do their jobs, and so on. People get reprimanded on the spot in front of everyone. Not cool at all.

Stable industry. Salary is competitive. Bonuses for salaried employees are within reach to goal setpoint.

Cons

Very stressful and long working hours. Quality of life suffers greatly when working for this company. I've worked in multiple locations for Flowers and the difference from one location to the next can be day and night so be careful before accepting an offer. You will work holidays and weekends as well as 6 day weeks so be prepared to not have a family life. The hourly wages are low so the operations suffer due to employee commitment. Good luck......you'll need it.
