Pros

i got along with my coworkers

Cons

Where to begin. I was trained management who had no idea of what they were doing. I know that the company likes to hire previous experience but this was a bad investment in my opinion. I also worked with a couple of looneys who constantly told me that I would never amount to anything. When I told HR , they replied to my email and said "you're just making all that up, FSNS is a great place to work son" I took it a bit personally but get this, I aim to drive by this location in about 6 months and am betting with my friends to see if the location still exists. I would imagine that it will be long gone with the incompetency that exists in the people that dont know what they are doing. I hope that new recruits to this place see this review and stay away from here. When i was here , for every person that was hired, a person quits. Theres only a handful of senior people left since the company pays so low. I heard from a person that still works there that useless HR reps came over to the lab and screamed at a bunch of the non-management and told them to respect management or they would be fired. Not a very good business practice in my opinion. Anyway, i bet the door to the entrance of the lab is still broken. Ive got a few more bets with friends about the status of the lab in the coming months that I believe I will win a large sum of money off of.

Your feedback is very important to me and FSNS. It’s unfortunate to hear your concerns. I am especially concerned with the comments you allege were made from some “looneys” and I would like to hear more so that I can address these individuals directly. I visited the lab on 12/4 and again on 1/16 & 1/17. The HR quotes and/or screaming you have included are not from me, so I would enjoy talking through this further with you so that I can properly look into it. At FSNS, we continue to train and develop our managers into strong leaders. We continue to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged, valued and appreciated. We understand that there are always opportunities to learn and improve. As a team, this lab is making a number of positive changes for daily improvement, which I have been able to see firsthand. Please give me a call to talk further. I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

An okay company to start out with.

Pros

The amount of testing and products received means you can learn ALOT in just a couple months, which is nice if pursuing a career in microbiology is what you are after.

Cons

The people who have a higher title are not trained for that title. They are given the normal schedule while not doing the work they are titled for. While everyone else is set to work rotating schedules and to do the work they are not supposed to be doing but are the only ones trained to do it. This does not make sense, why should the employee then continue to do the work they are not paid to do and train the people who are supposed to be doing it but fail to do it each day?
