They will lie to you.

Pros

There are no pros to working here except for some of the coworkers. I've met some great people with hearts of gold and I hope to stay in touch with them after I leave.

Cons

They will lie to you in the interview. They will say that you'll get a raise with your 90 day review. They will say that they promote cross training in any department and want you to work where you feel comfortable in the building. They're lying. What they really want is as many warm bodies as they can to fill up the room and shoulder the massive workload. I was yelled at for asking about my 90 day review and came to find out that many people there who'd worked for even a year or longer had never received a review or a raise. Also found out that they've basically stopped giving out raises because we "aren't guaranteed one after 90 days." But I guess it doesn't really matter in the long run since so many people are leaving anyways. I've seen so many people leave/get fired since I've been employed and everyday I walk in wondering if I will be next. Oh and you will get fired for very minor mistakes. It's so bad shortcuts and fabrication are being done and hidden from management just to save more people from getting fired. On top of that, there's abundant favoritism, poor benefits and a toxic work culture that pressures you to stay much later than the shift you'e slated for. You will lose sleep over terrible scheduling, you will lose time for the more important things in life and you will lose the will to work after coming in to the same repetitive work day after day. If you're looking for real growth and opportunity this is not the job for you.

You have obviously taken a great deal of time to think about what you wanted to write. Transparency is important in our business – for our employees and our customers. Our employees are at the cornerstone of all we do. I really hope you have consider sitting down with your manager and have this same discussion. There is so much to address here. If you are uncomfortable talking with your manager, might I suggest you reach out to your new Regional Director/Manager? Contact me directly? We are working hard to make changes lab by lab and continue to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged, valued and appreciated. I will be sharing your post with the Regional Directors/Managers to ensure we create a greater level of transparency as well as address other issues you have listed. You may contact me directly to discuss any other details surrounding your concerns. Thank you. Bob Cox, SVP HR.

Bad company with many unfortunate secrets

Pros

When i first started in 2016 i liked how i was treated like royalty, but after my 90 days was up i was started to be treated like crap ever since. I guess they are fake nice to new people to get them to stay 90 days and then they show their true nature.

Cons

You will ALWAYS have to stay late because you will get written up if you do not. It's always busy, we take numerous shortcuts to go home at a reasonable time. It is ALWAYS short staffed. None of the managers I have met at multiple labs have been "nice" or "fair". There is no room to grow here, maybe if you are a favorite (i.e. if you can keep your mouth shut about the secrets here) and believe me there is alot of that here.

Thank you for your willingness to travel to other labs to assist. I am sorry to hear that you don’t feel that you are getting the level of support you expect. I hope that you have had this discussion with your Lab Manager and/or Regional Manager. I’m not aware of any secrets or 5 star hotels being used – please consider calling me directly on this. We care deeply about our people and go above and beyond to provide support. If you are not getting that support from your manager, please contact a member of the HR Team so that we can help. Thanks again. Bob Cox, SVP HR.

Pros

None i was once blinded in the beginning by management and learned very quickly that they are extremely unprofessional, but they also talk about everyone behind closed doors.

Cons

Their treatment of employees across the board is horrific and I held a management position. There is a revolving door so dont expect to ever get your 40 hours a week and then leave because overtime is REQUIRED!

It is disheartening to hear these comments. While we work hard to create a great culture for our employees. I hope you will consider giving me or another member of the HR Team a call to talk through your concerns so that we can properly address them – and/or help you to find another opportunity.
