If you want to work at a company that is exactly like a frat this is the company for you. No time to yourself, even on the weekends. 60 hour work weeks and then you’re essentially forced to spend your free time on the weekends with the same people from work. If you don’t spend time with your coworkers on the weekend you’re looked down on during the week by “leadership.” If someone quits the company you a exiled from any forms of communication from any current employers. Consider yourself erased from nyone’s memory. If you currently work there and try to associate with someone that does not work there anymore you will be constantly reprimanded and scolded. If you do not want any sort of your own social life of any form then this is the place for you.

If you don't want to read this whole thing, look up the definition of a cult, and that's what Fortitude is. First, they really don't have an HR team. If you have an issue with someone/something you talk to the office leaders, who are very biased. They will gaslight you into thinking you should only hang out with co-workers on the weekends. Your promotion is based on how much a** kissing you do to senior leadership/AE's. If you buy into their business model, call colleagues after work to get their POV on how to grow/network, come early and stay late, you'll get promoted pretty fast. Talking to higher-ups, they will give you the same bs shpeal. They will also gaslight you into "giving you more responsibilities" as a way to prove you should be promoted when in fact they aren't going to promote you for another six months. For office location, they don't care where you want to be, they will put you where they think you'll "fit best" aka, far away from family and friends so you're forced to hang out with only Fortitude people. They will give you an option for them to put you up in housing but it's literally like a frat house, especially if you're a girl, DON'T DO IT!!! Live with non-work people, it'll keep you a little saner. You feel like it's groundhogs day every day at work. You go in, go over the board, and then make 60+ calls and leave. Senior leadership will be able to tell right away if you're not "bought-in" aka, drinking the Fortitude juice. When they see this, they will be on a mission to transform you into someone they want you to be. They don't value unique people, they want athletes who they can model into Fortitude workers. You barely get any time off and working remotely isn't an option. You won't be able to go home for holidays if you live far away or see your hometown friends on random weekends. You HAVE to work out at lunch, they will get super mad if you use your lunchtime to run errands or just chill. There are so many red flags with this company. I truly believe one of the main reasons they hire athletes is because they know they don't have a lot of work experience, due to time spent training, and they can gaslight them into thinking this is a "normal" work environment when it's not.
