Pros

Happy hours, opportunity to make decent commission if you turn out to be really good in recruiting or sales.

Cons

It’s a 24/7 gig with terrible pay and a cult environment. I could go into the details but basically only a certain type of person does well here and you’ll know if that’s you within the first couple months.

Fun at first, gets old quick though.

Cons

No real business processes. Keep branching off to create what seem to be shell companies that don't actually do anything. Hire young students who will turnover quickly, because they don't know any better. Shield themselves by writing fake Glassdoor reviews - on Linkedin they show as 154 employees, but somehow they have 220 reviews all saying how great it is to work there. Quick math shows that doesn't check out.

-Excellent chance the sharpen recruiting skills and make friends -Ability to listen to music while you work throughout the day -Company trips

Cons

-34K base salary (*which included a bonus that you must pay back if you leave before 18 months) plus commission (that you don't start earning until your 6th month) -Absolutely no work life balance, it is required that you move from your home state and dedicate all of your waking moments to "building relationships" -Very male, very white culture... major lack of diversity -Strict dress code with pleated pants and color scheme to follow -No HR, allows for unprofessionalism (particularly when combining a alcohol culture) -Discrimination (people of color fired for same offenses made by white employees)
