Pros

Felt that they had turned the corner strategically. Were service-oriented from top to bottom.

Cons

Were recently acquired in a buy out/merger. Not sure how that will shake out for the former employees and management.

Working with company, it will give you a good understanding on the trucking companies if you have never worked for one before.

Cons

The con's about working here is that if you are a woman you are not allowed to work on the dock even if you have the experience.

Pros

Great work environment. Always a fast pace environment made the days go fast. Working with Air & Ocean freight there was always obstacles to overcome but at the end of the day the job was rewarding. Management didn't bother you to much as long as you meet expectations.

Cons

Towne Air was bought out by Forward Air and it went down hill from there. Forward Air upper management pretended to listen but in return had an agenda.
