Pros

- The "open door" policy with the CEO, COO and VP's. They are all easily accessible and value employee's opinions, questions and concerns. - Upper management is transparent with company developments - Room to develop in current roles - The company is reputable. It recently won the #2 spot for Boston Business Journal's Fastest-Growing Private Companies in MA. - It is a fast paced environment that is ever growing and changing with the industry - The thought that goes into making sure employee's are satisfied with working at Forward Financing is unparalleled to any other job I have previously worked at. Management genuinely cares about the overall culture and atmosphere both inside and outside of the office. A lot of effort goes into company events such as summer outings, holiday parties, happy hours, team building (ex: escape the room & paintball to name a few). - Forward Financing offers travel plans for the MBTA & uber in addition to great heath care plans. -Reimbursement is offered up to a certain amount for gym memberships. - It is easy to balance a work and social / personal life. Teams step up to the plate to assist when people are on vacation or out of the office. - Management is aware of safety / travel concerns with harsh New England winters and offer employees the option to work from home during storms. - Breakfast is delivered every Wednesday and Lunch is delivered every Friday - The office location is in the heart of the city. Easily accessible to the train & several shops and stores.

Cons

- The average age of the office is young. (24-30) and sometimes feels like an extension of college - Compensation could be more aggressive for certain roles.

Pros

You're not just a number here, everyone has a voice Still a smaller company so the room to grow is huge. Friendly environment and workspace. Challenging work Red Sox & Celtics tickets! Competitive salary + bonus Big into team work, everyone is extremely helpful. Every Friday an excellent lunch is catered. Accommodating managers who really listen. Monthly team building events Don't buy the other low reviews on here, they are misleading and untrue. The company had to make a tough business decision over the summer and a lot of people were unfortunately let go from the sales side of operations. I would never work at a company described in those negative reviews. I was worried before I started because of what I read, but I can assure you it's just the opposite and this is an awesome place to work.

Cons

The only con I see is the office space is a little divided. Large offices on the 2nd & 4th floor. It would be nice to have everyone mesh more throughout the day in a more collaborative environment. This doesn't prevent communication but maybe one bigger office in the future.
