Great leadership! Generous PTO & Holiday as well as other benefits. So many great employees with a passion to help others and stay with the company for many years. Diversity and Inclusion is a top priority.

Cons

Not enough time to help everyone. Those who are not successful at the company seem to want to talk poorly about FSC. Most negative talk is not truthful.

They give 4 weeks of PTO a year.

Cons

Management is inexperienced, unsupportive, and not transparent in their decision-making. The corporation is unwilling to listen to critiques of sexism or racism. They use a mandatory white savior curriculum to train their employees on how to interact with the public. Anytime I’ve tried to advocate for students or my coworkers, I’ve been met with intense resistance and punishment. Overall, I’ve found this workplace to be emotionally draining, and I would not recommend taking TRIO positions within FSC. If you’re interested in supporting students, do it at a workplace that is willing to hear your point of view.

However, I will add that Forward Service Corporation is dedicated to providing an inclusive, non-judgmental culture for our staff and program participants. Sexist or racist conduct is not tolerated and we continue to provide educational opportunities for staff to learn about not just tolerance, but acceptance. Of course not, we're human, but we are dedicated to learning and growing; moreover, we operate from the principles of grace and understanding. Pros

After teaching in a classroom for many years, I can honestly say I didn't know a company like FSC existed--a company that fully respects and trusts their employees to do the work they were hired to do without the need for micromanagement and unrealistic work load expectations. FSC is a company that truly cares about their employees as well as listens to AND more importantly acts upon what their employees need and want in a workplace.

Cons

Every day is different and busy--but in good ways, so not really a con :-)!!
