FSC used to be a great place to work, but now all corporate cares about are numbers. HR does not operate with integrity at all whatsoever. Every few months they pressure employees to leave positive Glassdoor reviews, meaning a lot of these reviews are from current employees and sometimes multiple from the same employees as we are asked to do this at least once per year. Our insurance recently changed and all of the corporate staff and workers in Madison are benefitting from low costs and great coverage while the rest of us are having to drive sometimes 30-60 minutes to find an in-network provider, which are few and far between. We did recently receive hefty raises, however this came after large amounts of turnover as no one was being compensated fairly for the amount of work they were doing. Turnover is still rampant, even after the wage adjustments and it makes it difficult to want to stay when we are constantly asked to do the work of three people vs. what we were hired for. The corporate staff don’t care that this is happening since this doesn’t mean extra work for them. They just sit back and make top dollar while the rest of keep this place running.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Turnover at Forward Service Corporation is far lower than comparable companies right now. We have staff who have worked with us for more than 10 years. We also do not "pressure" staff to leave reviews on Glassdoor and other sites. It is always voluntary and the corporate staff have no idea who leaves and review and who doesn't.

Pros

Vacation of 4 weeks. Pto is a good package and the pay is good.

Cons

HR does not care. There’s so many issues at lower levels and it’s brought up to HR who doesn’t care. My region has the highest turn over due to leaders. There is no training for leaders. Case managers are forced with a lot of work because staff quits. The turn over is not as low as they say when in facts it’s 60% or more. We had a meeting where we were told to give team members who give the company a good review a gift card. They are paying for the reviews.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As an organization, we certainly do care about our employees’ wellbeing and their opinions. We have the regular pulse surveys and maintain an open-door policy. I’m not sure where the turnover rate you cite comes from, but our rate is 22%, which is well below the national average for similar companies. Offering any sort of compensation for a positive review is definitely not a corporate initiative and we have not “paid” for the positive reviews in any way. Even if we wanted to, there isn’t any way for us to know who left a review for us - positive or negative. If you have concerns, I urge you to reach out to your supervisors and HR to discuss so we can make changes that improve life for staff and, in turn, for our clients.

Where I am meant to be!

Pros

I knew the minute I started with FSC that it was where I was meant to be. Through the last 2.5 years, that feeling has not changed. FSCs values their employees through transparency and balance. The benefits and compensation are phenomenal, well above other companies. Our mission applies to those in our community and the employees. FSC shows everyday that they truly care and believe in the mission. I love going to work everyday knowing that I work for an organization that truly makes a difference in our community.

Cons

Sometimes information between programs and departments can be siloed. Generally, information is shared and available.
