Pros

Pay is very competitive. HR is engaged and professional. Benefits are competitive. PTO is very generous. I would recommend working for many programs within FSC.

Cons

Supervisors are a gamble. Some are competent, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Some came into their positions because they’ve been there the longest. Of the two programs I’ve worked with FSC for, one had an amazing supervisor, and one was disengaged -letting their employees fail with the only repercussions falling on the employee side. HR does employee surveys bi-monthly, however these are not anonymous, leading to skewed positive results. HR presents these results as definite as we all roll our eyes.

Pros

Been at FSC for almost 9 years in various roles. Supportive supervisor and team, getting to help participant's reach their goals/dreams while helping train case managers, FSC leadership listens to feedback given and makes changes when feasible.

Cons

Balancing helping participant's and meeting policy requirements can be tough some days, but just have to keep focusing on the big picture understanding of why both are important.

A strong, established company that is respected in the non-profit world. My personal experience is that the staff is respectful and non-judgemental.

Cons

Not a con, more of a note - Working for a non-profit is different then working for a for-profit company. If you are expecting unlimited perks - not the company for you.
