Over worked, Management could be better and its a lot of work almost impossible to keep up with. Turnover is crazy in this job

Thank you for your review. We have turned a lot of attention to turnover in the past 2 years because we think our people are our services. We've introduced better training, a mentorship program, and even provided for 4 additional paid holidays in 2015. We will continue striving to support our staff and listen to them.

RUN AWAY, HUGE MISTAKE, STAY AWAY

If this rating system would have allowed it, FSC would have received negative stars. The only positive is having Glassdoor to have the opportunity to say; DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. If you join Forward Service Corp, GOOD LUCK, YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT

Cons

The low pay, clueless direction and toxic environment with intimidation in an effort to cover ignorance are not worth the hassle. An initial assessment of the direction proved to be painfully true and then somehow even worse. Who would have a director that does not know how to use an extension cord?? Keep that in mind, you will be evaluated by someone who does not know how to use an extension cord. Get used to a sales boiler-room atmosphere as your evaluations are based on numbers.

While data may not be the most enjoyable part of the work we do, it is very important here, as it is in any industry. We are entrusted with taxpayer funds to get people jobs and we are expected to perform when selected as a provider. This isn’t a numbers game for us, it’s about our accountability to our funding sources and our customers.

Mixed emotions

Pros

It has great benefits, CEO is a genuine person and is great to work for. Great programs.

Cons

Workload can be very overwhelming! Too much is expected for too little pay. Supervisors are contradictory telling workers to ask for help if needed, but then don't follow thru when employees ask for assistance. Also, tendency to make employees feel bad for innocent mistakes or not catching on fast enough when things change on a whim.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. You offered some great advice here – we’ve been working at developing more detailed training plans and providing more initial training. We’ve also introduced a mentorship program to help new staff get help as well and provide more support. Our QA department is currently updating all training plans and will be launching this soon. We encourage our employees to contact HR if they ever feel they have a concern they aren’t comfortable sharing with their supervisor. Our HR staff is here to listen and explore issues if needed at any time.
