Pros

Complimentary Nights (not always approved) Employee meals Paid Time Off

Cons

Management (gets away with many things and still there after more than dozens of employee complaints, then laughs it off and pretends that nothing happened) Open door policy (whatever you say goes back to you) Advancement (if you're very good at what you do, be ready to get denied for advancement) Hours (be prepared to work back to back shifts, sacrifice all your hours and not get recognized) Sick Time (although encouraged to take sick days, management will ask you to take meds until u get better to come back that same day or they won't care about your health and just want your there) HR (line staff, forget HR, even though you are more important than management, they will protect each other)

Pros

Love the company as a whole. Issy Sharp has built up a fantastic company but things have changed a lot over the years. Worked with some amazing People who are like family and friends for life.

Cons

Managers are expected to work 10-14 hour days. The Work Life Balance stinks. Asst Mgrs do the majority of the work for half the pay of Dept Heads. Upper Mgmt does not take responsibility for their mistakes, they blame it on middle mgmt. Pay is not conducive to the hours worked. During peak seasons line staff make more money then managers as they get paid OT.

Pros

Making tips and getting complimentary food and uniforms

Cons

Serious micro managing leadership at Four Seasons One Dalton in Boston, MA. Leadership and I other staff will stalk you to see if your doing your job especially if your a new hire. A lot of fake people who pretend to value you as an employee but will stab you in the back. I highly recommend that you do not work here. It’s not all that it’s cracked up to be.
