Company with heart, passion and great people crippled by lack of process, direction and consistency

Pros

Most of the employees are smart, bright and dedicated to their job. You really feel like you are a part of something with great potential. CEO is extremely gifted and phenomenal at the development, capability and sales side of the company.

Cons

Many people are burnt out and "jaded" with their jobs and positions. Change is constant. Reviews/raises are non-existent and growth /career opportunities are nearly impossible. The lack of "HR" is extremely frustrating and the common answer when concerns are voiced is "maybe this culture isn't right for you" or "this is a private company and that's how it is."

Very cool product and vision. Breakfast burrito Fridays and lunch trucks almost daily.

Cons

Very bad management and HR. Cramped working conditions (office in a sardine can). No parking unless you pay for it. High turnover due to constant employee/management conflicts. Backstabbing is encouraged. High priced benefits and no 401K matching. Awesome product but often times promises are made that can't be kept but they still manage to justify charging for it.
