Pros

- Learned a great deal from working with Vendors

Cons

- No Career Development or HR at company. Long-time employees mindset is ‘We have Always Done It This Way’, unfortunately never trained beyond their original role & aren’t equipped to support innovative ideas. - No Diversity within the organization, especially on Executive Team. - Company seems to focus more on merging n changing their names, then focusing on a quality product. Worldnow to Frankly Media to Engine Media - No clear leadership within organization & departments are fragmented.

Pros

Free lunches, pool table, good benefits.

Cons

Company started out as a chat app with investors from Korea. They failed at chat, decided to go public on the Canadian exchange to raise funds, and then they acquired a company called WorldNow. The acquisition was strange as WorldNow had nothing to do with chat. Instead, WorldNow was a company that built/maintained news and weather apps for several local news stations. Frankly thought they could do this better, but failed to materialize any significant deals and had to lay off most of their staff.
