Pros

The work is rewarding and I share the values of Fraser. It's a great place to get your feet wet after graduation. There are some really lovely people employed here. Fast growth as an organization. Lots of PTO (over 5 weeks for full time employees).

Cons

Very high turnover at most levels of the organization. Wages are low, raises from annual review barely cover cost of living and increases to health insurance premiums. The health plan has improved but isn't spectacular. Some processes are a mess but clinical services keep expanding faster than issues can be fixed. Large enough nonprofit that there is a fair amount of bureaucracy.

Pros

Set your own schedule, lots of continuing education, clinical breadth, gain a strong foundation for compliance expectations.

Cons

Heavy workloads, productivity expectations after employment are different than described in intrrview, inflexible, unwieldy processes, astoundingly inefficient, the most laborious and cumbersome medical record system I have experienced. Pathetic raised.

Great co-workers and mission but not much else

Pros

Most of the people I worked with were very kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. Fraser's mission is wonderful.

Cons

Pay is much too low for how much they add to your plate. Supervisors (most) don't listen to your recommendations or concerns, play favoritism with people, and dance around important issues or avoid them all together. Was sometimes exhausting to go each day...
