Pros

It's a place you can be proud to say you work for. The employees genuinely care about the welfare of the clients. They emphasize training throughout employment. Asking for time off is not difficult, and they are in general extremely flexible.

Cons

As with many human services, the pay is low.

Pros

Very helpful supervisors, promote from within, good communication, work with you to find a good fit, many opportunities available for extra hours and different experiences

Cons

Challenging clients, feel like you are on your own sometimes instead of part of a company when doing home care work
