Bad leadership!

Pros

Before the DM was changed and changes with the commission policies in April of 2025 it was a great place to work.

Cons

Only $3 per auto policy for commission's and that is as long as that customer provides proof of NC residency, signs all documents sent to them and sends acceptable pictures of each vehicle needing comprehensive and collision coverages within 4-72 hours depending on which criteria you’re needing. If the customer doesn’t provide you with the required documentation you will not get your $3 commission! The new DM will only hire “bilingual agents” regardless of experience and treats anyone who isn’t bilingual as less than qualified. She does not provide leadership unless you are liked by her and she’s very condescending and has limited knowledge of NC insurance. Ie.. underinsured insurance 🤦‍♀️

Pros

There are none. It’s a complete sweatshop and is now a call center. Other agents can steal your quotes, forced overtime, 6 vacation days and you can still lose a holiday. Soriano hires more Hispanic employees to give them a work visa who can barely speak English, look at the stats. Upper management lies and make monthly bonuses of $2500 from what the Sales Agents make, while the Sales Agents get 3% IF you write more than the limit they set.

Cons

Everything from the cheap software, having to clean and scrub the toilets in our office, the lies, forcing agents to add additional coverage to policies or get called out. They’re a joke and I’ll be getting my lawyer to get the pay they still owe me.
