Pros

Benefit package, patients are well cared for, and the physicians are of the highest quality any where and wonderful to work with

Cons

The patient load is totally unrealistic to actually do what is required by the government regulations. Managers are weak and have very poor education or ability. Autocratic style of handling personnel is very demoralizing and places little value on the person.

Pros

Ability to climb career ladder. They do care alot about the patients and the staff. The staff are rewarded at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service. We are always trying to make things better for our patients through surveys, higher clinical outcome goals, quality improvement and just being there through the Ultracare mission. I'm proud to work at Fresenius and wouldn't have it any other way. Even if I step down and become a staff RN, I'll stay with the company because they do have the patient and staff and their best interests at heart. We are so much better than the competition.

Cons

To much is put on clinical manager. At Davita they have two positions for the ONE position we hold. To much emphasis on money! CM's are getting burned out! The clinical manager job is becoming overwhelming. They continue to add more and more to our plates and still want us to work on the floor. It's becoming impossible to do. My peers and myself are all thinking of stepping down and management just keeps piling more workload on our shoulders. They need to respect us and understand this is a very, very hard job and at Davita there are two managers and they don't work the floor. Please respect us, please!

Pros

it's an option to a hospital. The people you work with are very nice. Most of them do what is required in their job title. Benefits are good here. it's in a local area where there would not be much commuting involved. there are some nice people in this company and those we work with and the patients for the most part are lovely. It's a joy really, to care for the patients within our clinic. we are lucky to have jobs as there are many who are out of work.

Cons

Work schedule is terrible. Salaries are horrible. Staffing is poor. Staffing morale is poor most of the time. The schedule while is adaptable isnot good for one's life outside work. the hours are horrible. the leadership leaves much to be desired. There is no respect from management. there is no positive feedback...ever. when staff is spoken to, it's usually about what's NOT being done. Professional staff is required to do technical work while being criticized for not getting professional work completed with the shift. It's very difficult to do tow peoples jobs at the same time. Salaries are not competive with the rest of the country and it's expensive to live in Florida but there is no cost of living increases within the company. have been told that the increase you get for performance is cost of living. this is NOT THE CASE! there should be a cost of living in crease as well as a performance increase.
