Above average wages, great benefits including healthcare and paid time off. Low turn over with retail(most employees have been there for years). While employed, I was consistently working 40 hour weeks.
Cons
Yes, benefits are great but it was the worst year of my life working for them. Horrible and toxic environments made myself(and others) depressed. Manager was horrible: watching our every move, choosing favorites and setting us against each-other. Goals were borderline delusional, especially when you are working with unethical individuals who steal clients and do other shady things. The same unethical individuals will sit there and write you up because you didn’t make goal, and to the point you are about to loose your job. 2 assistant managers who were there solely because they were friends with our store manager and are in no way qualified to be in management. Beyond a toxic environment. Pay does not make abusive environment okay. apart from making our lives miserable, our manager enjoyed sitting downstairs in his office all day gossiping about colleagues on his phone while giving the illusion he is solely responsible for the success of the store.meanwhile, he did nothing but watch us and put us in constant fear of loosing our jobs. He would constantly get upset with us for doing things incorrectly, but never trained us to better ourselves or correct the issue. Company made some of our lives an actual hell. At the end of the day Anxiety, depression and being in a constant state of panic was not worth our paycheck. Most of us have left, and there are a few people that are still there. Locations have shut down because brand is not launching innovative products. Please note, manager is no longer with the company, but it is concerning these issues have been brought to cooperates attention for YEARS but nothing was ever done. Colleague was assaulted TWICE while on the job by homeless person within the course of several months and company did little to nothing to address this. We also had a serious issue of homeless individuals coming in(some were mentally ill as well) and again, company did not take action to protect us. I did not feel safe in my work environment. I am giving this a 3 star review because they offer high wages and great benefits while I was employed
