      Pros

      Not many at all. The buildings are in great shape. Cosmetically good classrooms and buildings.

      Cons

      Teachers are replaceable. Students are seen as dollar signs. The CEO is an egomaniac that is over paid and hires only like minded principals who do not value teachers. Teachers are at the behest of students with negative behaviors and parents are allowed to do as they please. Teachers are being physically attacked by students without consequences to the students that are attacking them.

      Pros

      Helping kids is the main focus for the summer. And getting to learn how a public charter school works from the inside is always a plus.

      Cons

      Not always organized when it comes to summer programs. Most of the summer felt like "we'll deal with it when we get there" kind of methodology.

      The teachers are socially close.

      Cons

      I found the administration to be very punitive toward classroom teachers and focused on short term rather than long term. There is definitely the common theme that staff is replaceable.
