There was a lot of community amongst the teachers.

Cons

The impossible is expected. Teachers are often given unhelpful feedback that is based more on aesthetics than quality instruction. There is the idea that teachers, even great teachers are constantly replaceable.

There is opportunity for growth and promotion if you make the right connections. If you are an employee at headquarters, this is more likely to happen.

Cons

At the school level morale can be low due to high turnovers. The employees are not valued at the school level. Classroom management needs a lot of work. The is a revolving door of curriculum. No curriculum ever really gets a chance to take root, before a new one replaces it.
