Friendship PCS is a great place to grow professionally. This is an organization where effort is rewarded. This community feels like a family and senior management genuinely care about kids.

Many employees are trying to make a difference Pay is relatively good compared to other charter schools (closely aligned with DCPS salary scale)

Cons

Unprofessional management Unethical business practices. CEO made $280K in 2012, more than the chancellor of DCPS ($275K), according to tax filings. Friendship serves one eight of the students that DCPS does. Friendship is skimming money from the public system by cramming 35 students in a classroom and hiring inexperienced teachers.
