Amazing Team!

Pros

There is a core group of people on the management team who will do whatever it takes to accomplish goals. They collaborate well with each other and have a high degree of trust and mutual respect.

Cons

The leadership team is incredibly entrepreneurial, which can make it difficult for more junior staff to keep up with a rapidly changing organization. Teachers sometimes feel frustrated because things constantly change. There is a deep bench of longtime executives who have the ear of the CEO, which can make it hard for new staff to have their voices heard. Outside of the core team, there are some individuals who seem to coast by on relationships.

Pros

Excellent benefits...if you love helping children, don't mind long hours, this is the place for you. Colleagues were awesome to work with, most were friendly and understood team building and working together.

Cons

Not appreciated for hard work, work 12 hours daily easily; some of the management had unrealistic expectations of work flow.

Pros

Some of my colleagues are very committed to the work of teaching and are very hard working and diligent. The schools are located centrally and are generally easy to access via public transportation.

Cons

The schools do not value its teachers--little effort is made to acknowledge exceptional teachers and the environment is very unprofessional. Favoritism abounds and development of teachers as professionals and leadership opportunities are slim to none.
