Great place to get experience. Nice coworkers. A nice shift differential. Lots of room in the laboratory. A window in the laboratory.

Cons

Insurance. Work load can be very slow making for long days. Varied shifts. No holiday pay. No overtime. Really no perks to the job. High turnover rate.

Meeting lifelong friends in my department.

Cons

Froedtert south is full of nepotism and narcissists. Staff is very underpaid and very unappreciated unless you’re family or close friends with someone who is a VP or director. Froedtert south has mentally drained me and even after talking with people in HR and above nothing has changed to try and make this a better work environment.
