Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

New position for outside sales. They decided to make this department in house instead of 3rd party. All of the management came from Verizon and are treating this outside sales job as if it’s retail. They absolutely have no idea what they are doing. They can’t even find people to do the job because the salary is so low and commission structure is horrible. They are so desperate to find workers that they decided to take the most important piece of the job requirement which is having reliable transportation. My manager was more concerned about doing personal errands and leaving the office at 4:30pm. Only once or twice has met up for no longer than 30 mins in the field. Always had an excuse on leaving early. Barely helped reps in the field when we needed support. Training is for2 days online to learn how to process a sale then they throw you out in the field to see if you will sink or swim. I wouldn’t be surprised if this department will fall flat on its face and will fail miserably if it continues to go the way it’s going.

Pros

Building a great fiber service, and replacing old equipment getting all new equipment

Cons

Management is all over you looking for anyreason to write you up. Zero training, better be able to learn on your own or from coworkers. They have little care for your health or well being.

Nepotism and Favoritism

Pros

Company is modernizing, streamlining, and improving.

Cons

Too much nepotism: two senior leaders being spouses that report to the same boss cause many conflicts of interests. The wife can go around her boss to do whatever she wants, with her husband’s help. Wife and husband attend xmas with the boss without anyone else in the team. If the wife isn’t qualified to do a job, husband helps her get the job due to having great relationship with the boss. Now if the boss sabotages employees and leaders, and doesn’t know what she is talking about, then she can easily scapegoat others for her own poor leadership. No one can say anything because her boss and husband report to the same leader.
