Pros

Job functions are fairly easy. About 1/5 of the week spent in meetings.

Cons

Where do I begin...healthcare cost/deductions per pay stub continue to sky rocket, canceling out any benefit from the recent tax cut. The company also cut back on 401K match. There has been no bonus, no raises, nor performance reviews for management employees for the past two years since Frontier bought us out from Verizon. Only upper management receives stock options and other perks that are exclusive to the good old boy's club. In addition, Frontier applications and systems are antiquated and a complete joke. Departments are disconnected with no staff support and plenty of outdated processes. If anyone dared to question the status quo, that person will be reprimanded for coming up with solutions to save this sinking ship and thinking outside the box. I would not recommend this company to anyone except my worse enemies!

Can Frontier Communications make a comeback?

Pros

Frontier has many, many, many awesome employees with strong desires to work hard, be successful, and make the company successful. The employees want to improve the customer experience, they want to do a great job. There are leaders who really want to support their employees and improve the culture, but their hands are most often tied, and they are as frustrated as their employees.

Cons

Toxic culture, no vision or long term strategy, antiquated systems and even more antiquated thought processes. People who question status quo, or push too hard for change, are ostracized or let go. A strange "dictatorship" clique mentality exists in many of the leadership teams. A few really good leaders have been brought in, but it is doubtful they will be able to accomplish anything long term with the current schizophrenic environment.
