Upper Management doesn't care about the front line employees

Pros

The salary was decent if you were a long time employee, paid vacation and sick time, flexible shifts, union supported.

Cons

They laid off an entire service center and didn't give a good reason. This center had the best reps who were knowledgeable and had high productivity. I believe they were laid off because upper management wanted to cut their salaries but couldn't find a way to do it so they laid them off and sent the jobs to another state where they were able to pay them less than half the pay.

Pros

Some truly bright people in management and tech crews that work their hardest to do a great job despite terrible technology and legacy systems.

Cons

Equipment is dated and disappoints customers daily. There needs to be more investment in infrastructure. The Senior Leadership Team doesn't really care as long as they get their bonuses. Perhaps now that Maggie Wilderotter has stepped back a bit the management style will come into this century.

Pros

Decent pay and Decent bonuses, I also loved my supervisor!

Cons

Higher management shows favoritism to select employees and lets them get away with anything no matter how extreme and they end up with extra money in their checks. They will pick out people they don't like, even if they are super good on the phones, and they will find a reason to fire you. They promise 4 weeks of PTO starting out but make it almost impossible to request it. You can't even leave the room just to use the bathrooms that are right outside the doors without them sending someone to find you and get you in trouble. If you are late to work because of a car crash or a flat tire they will not work with you and mark you down for an occurrence, you get 7 before you get fired. If you are sick and throwing up and need to call in they will give you an occurrence and question you on the phone no matter how personal your reason is. They accuse you of not doing your job and threaten to fire you constantly. If a customer walks away mad even if after you gave it all you got and then some, in their eyes it's your fault and you didn't do good enough. You never are good enough no matter how many people you make happy on the phone. Had a co-worker get so stressed with all of this non sense that he ended up in the emergency room. They tell you that you get your own desk but that's not true and the people they hire have no respect and will actually damage your belongings and even take your stuff, management does nothing when this is reported. I had to quit because it caused anxiety attacks just being there and i wasn't allowed to take a small break to calm down if i was in the middle of one, management knew of my anxiety attacks. There are so many jobs out there, please please pick another one! What i have listed is only the smallest bit of why you should look elsewhere! People only say they love their job there because they get large bonuses if they get someone hired on! the same people run both Lindon and Provo.
