Pros

$20 an hour. 2 weeks of Vacation (that you can rarely use when you want to)

Cons

For our last contract they cut our pay $3 an hour, made us pay for health insurance, cut our 401k and Pension benefits. The supervisors don't have a clue what the core workers do. Management is more worried that you went to the bathroom and forgot to log off your phone then when a co-worker is harrassing and threatening others. We have a Trainer that cuts and pastes training tips from another trainer and passes it off as her own. In fact the last time we had a new process, she only trained a 1/3 of the employees. We're forced to participate in Sales programs, when we don't interact with the general public.

Pros

It's not the worst place in the world to work, but... I'm not generally a negative person, but I am finding it difficult to list Pros- -decent pay and benefits -good people at the local level that actually care, want to provide good service and take care of customers -It is satisfying when you are able to provide good service and deliver products that make a positive difference in the customer's business. But it takes sooo much effort to deliver.

Cons

It's a very difficult environment to work in: systems & applications that aren't integrated, requiring repetitive entry of information and too much hands-on follow-up activity; cross-department support teams that pass the buck, don't communicate, and don't follow through. There is no quality assurance and the same people make the same errors over and over. In many job functions, the company doesn't provide proper training or the tools to adequately perform the job function, which sets the employee up for failure and effects a poor customer experience. The outside plant is in major need of rehab. Network performance suffers from high-utilization / severe congestion causing high packet loss - slow Internet - and very poor user experience. The company has a very poor reputation in many local area markets due to product performance, repair times, frequent issues on new installs, billing issues. The product offering is limited and not competitive in speed/price. Very few reps hit their number. High-stress & mentally exhausting. Expect to work 50-60 hour weeks.
