Pros

Lot f opportunity to move within the company, had awesome coaches when I was in the sales team, have a great boss now that I am in Marketing

Cons

The only thing stopping anyone is yourself. Offer a solution instead of griping about why you cannot do your job. Every single management personnel in my experience has been very helpful!

Pros

The flexibility we have in completing our job responsibilites -- challenging the status quo -- raising questions on existing operating procedures and new technology -- sharing knowledge, both in our own departments and with other departments, is one of the best parts of working for this company. Almost 25 years here, I have went from GTE, Verizon, to now Frontier. The last five years, we were Verizon, every month you worried about whether you were going to be the one on the reduction list. Seniority means nothing when in management. I have not felt that with Frontier. We are trying to expand to rural America. We can not lay fiber to every little town, but we can provide the best service possible with todays technology. Verizon did not want to expand to rural America; thus, why we are Frontier. Most of the people I work with have the midwestern work ethic.. you work. You try to do your best for your customer the first time. You ask questions. You solved problems. You work for the customer whether internal or external. Work - family life balance is excellent in my department. Bosses are superior and understanding. They have families and understand all the challenges and responsibilities in raising a family.

Cons

Employees should be Sr Level or Specialist Level depending on their skills. When one is the lead in the group or the one everyone turns to for answers, that person should be given a promotion based on skill level. The bar should not be that there are only specialists in this part of the department - because the job they do is more along the lines of the way the company is growing. Nevertheless, those in other areas of department, also have a very important job with very specific skill sets, that deserve the same recognition.
