Stability in mgmt lacking. Upper mgmt's does not value or honor recommendations of those they put in place to be SMEs and prefer to micro manage and follow their own oft misguided direction based on knee jerk reaction devoid of any logic. Contradiction seems to be a way of life. Often feel as if opinions suggestions are viewed as adversarial and promotes a do as you are told and do not questions menality. Break up/recreate teams without any consideration to assuring there is adequate coverage for their area of support, ie on call every 2 or 3 weeks.

Outdated technology, bleeding out the rump end on customer churn, no support from local managers or supervisors, commission tier is set against with a post call survey and repeat calls. Techs are over worked and not enough staffing. Wait till you have to tell a dear sweet lady that her repair ticket is going to take two weeks to complete. I wish the fed communications would take a look into this. If you're a Verizon employee coming in on the conversion good luck. They will take your pay. Take a buyout and enjoy an early retirement!
