Terrible Management - Profit Driven

Pros

Majority of staff have the right intentions and aim to ensure patient safety.

Cons

Management at Fujifilm is diabolical. There are people in management positions throughout the company who do not hold the correct skill set or people skills to do so. They also do not hold themselves accountable to the same rules as regular staff. Senior management constantly spout the words ‘patient safety’ but I ensure you they mostly care about the profit margins & if they’re able to keep themselves in a job. Core processes are being changed at a rapid pace…I would be very surprised if Fujifilm pass their next FDA/MHRA inspection.

Pros

The company offers good exposure to the CDMO industry, and the schedule is generally consistent. The work itself is not particularly difficult, and there are genuinely good people throughout the organization. Unfortunately, those positives are outweighed by persistent leadership and cultural issues that have only gotten worse over time.

Cons

The biggest problem is the lack of accountability. Rules are applied inconsistently, people regularly claim work is complete when it isn't, and poor performers are rarely addressed. Instead, the burden falls on the employees who consistently do the right thing, leading to burnout while others continue collecting a paycheck with few consequences. The culture also rewards speed over quality. When employees have to choose between doing the job correctly or doing it quickly, the expectation is almost always to prioritize speed. This creates unnecessary risk, lowers standards, and sends the message that appearances matter more than actual performance.
