      Pros

      Latest Mfg Equipment. Broad spectrum of assy. Great company from mid 90s to 01 then crash. Multiple RIFS from weakening schedule to 2006. Plant continues to shed select salaried and direct workers.

      Cons

      Work, work, work. Top heavy. 2013-2014 reorg removed 'grey beards'. Mgmt under 45 re-positioned, older Mgmt & ICs out the door. Age discrim but intermixed with some younger to avoid class action.

      Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Being in the fast-moving telecommunications industry, we need to make sure we are consistently evolving in the products and solutions we offer to meet the anticipated needs of our customers. With such growth and change comes the need for additional or new skillsets. Sometimes, the due diligence required to solve this business issue calls for restructuring. This requires us to think critically about the positions we have and carefully determine the need for every position going forward. Sometimes, this means we lose talented individuals that have been part of the FNC family. We must keep moving forward to stay on the leading edge of technology.

      Pros

      Generally nice, laid back people with low-pressure environment. Relatively flexible work schedule as long as you get the work done.

      Cons

      No room for individual growth nor performance -driven promotion due to stagnant growth and lack of strong leaders. System, process and management style are all very outdated and ineffective. Pretty hierarchical and no teamwork at all.
