Pros

Flexible Work and life balance

Cons

People I worked with were all great people and supportive and helpful and some are very skillful and knowledgeable. The problem is the managements. Some of their KPI is to think how to reduce commissions sales people get. They set many rules that sales people have to follow so it consumes so much time and sales people cannot focus on hunting for new opportunities. No flexibility on the process. New small rules can be created without officially announced and its not helping but only give sales people more work to do. Yet managements push sales people to sell more and hit target. Process just to book in the order is so tedious and sales cannot focus on hunting new opportunities. Need to spend so much time for paperwork and ask around all department for approval. Honestly I didn’t feel any sense of appreciation from management when I leave even they can see my contribution. I will not recommend to join the company.

Pros

I was fortunate to have a good manager out of Richardson who was mindful of my workload and the scope of my projects, which made it easy to balance my work and home time.

Cons

Not all managers care about work/life balance. Communication between divisions and department levels is minimal and causes many issues when trying to implement new processes or improvements. Transferring within the company is almost never done, this is due to preconceived notions about people from certain divisions and poor management communication.

Can't recommend working at Fujitsu America

Pros

There are some really talented and dedicated people, especially on the technical teams. High quality computer servers, laptops and related products.

Cons

Management by fear is rampant in the current environment with shrinking year-over-year sales in North America looming large over the staff. People (especially top managers) seem to be in positions they are not qualified for. Interesting cultural mix with an influx of European and Japanese managers making it more difficult to communicate. In my experience commitments made to employees are not respected and easily broken.
