Pros

This year will be my 7th year (coming up September 16th) as part of the FSBA Family! FSBA has been with me through every step of the way, helping me rise to the top from a Behavior Assistant to a BCBA in a Clinical Director role and now to a Regional Director position. Becoming a BCBA has always been a dream of mine since meeting my first kiddo back in 2009 as a Mental Health Teacher/ Counselor at a School for the Deaf. At first, I thought going through graduate school and obtaining my BCBA certification would be unattainable with 2 young children (1 Autistic), but FSBA has helped me reach this dream through their high-quality mentoring program and I will be forever grateful. As an independent contractor, I have a great work-life balance, as I am able to attend my children’s important IEP meetings or rush them to the doctor when needed and run back to work as travel time ranges from 5 minutes to 25 minutes! In terms of supervision, FSBA’s most intelligent and well-versed leadership staff provide monthly training based on the BACB Task List. Not only that, CEUs are actually granted in-house for attending and participating in these monthly group supervision sessions and are held via Teams at the comfort of your home. FSBA also provides journal article reviews each month to keep the staff in the loop with current ABA research, which guide our behavior analytic techniques. My immediate supervisors have always been so supportive and respond to every question that I have on the spot via Teams outside of supervision time. FSBA values their staff, putting them first! FSBA’s leadership staff are caring and want you to succeed in your career. FSBA continuously uplifts their team members through Accolades via Regional Teams Chat and mass company updates. Not only that, FSBA’s administrative staff are always on top of keeping up to date with your file, billing, and document deadlines. I love the way the admin and billing staff work as a team to execute documents needed for the client’s insurance during behavior plan submissions. FSBA leadership staff, supervisors, and coworkers are just the sweetest! They are always there for support anytime you need them! It has been a pleasure watching the company grow and to have the opportunity to grow along with FSBA. I am glad I am a part of a company that gets to see children grow each day. Full Spectrum is a company that celebrates progress at each and every step of the way- the child’s first mand, first independence with voiding in the “potty”, the first high-five with his peer, first placement in mainstream class, the first time ordering food on his own, the first haircut, just to give a few examples. Together we are executing FSBA’s goal: for each client to reach their full potential in home, school, and their communities!

Cons

School Breaks, however home and community services are available during those times.
