Great product but feels like a sinking ship

Pros

- Good pay - Flexible working location - opportunity to work alongside some very talented people with a lot of industry knowledge - Good product that provides a lot of value to customers

Cons

- Needs a complete culture change from the top-down - Highly toxic environment to work in, constant mass lay offs, constant change in direction/strategy, constant gossip and whispers due to lack of transparency from senior leadership - 0 work/life balance - Has the con of “unlimited PTO” which means employees don’t really take it - Feels like a sinking ship once you’re in

Lack support on quality training. Not fit for neurodiversity, no support. Not transparent with approaches.

Great people, autonomy, great product, very happy customers, solid investment

Pros

It was a huge decision for me to join (to leave my previous employer) after being there for 6 year, being paid very well, and executing meaningful and impactful work. It was a leap of faith but a well informed one and I have not looked back since. The company is a mature organisation with superb leadership who know what needs to be in place for a SaaS company to excel. They have the right people, structure, and processes in place to allow everyone to do meaningful work. In the UK, they have an office but no pressure to use it, there are people up and down the country, yet still a sense of a high performing team.

Cons

Benefits are strong but they could be communicated better across the business systems. However, this is recognised and being worked on as a matter of priority.
