My experience at FullStory was disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to help others considering a position here. When I joined FullStory as a member of the sales team, I had high hopes and expected to excel. However, within the first month, I realized that there were issues within the leadership team. I observed instances where higher leadership referred to the sales representatives in derogatory terms, which created a demotivating environment. It's important to note that the sales team was genuinely putting in effort and working with the given directions. Additionally, in the current economic climate, achieving quotas became increasingly challenging, yet leadership did not consider the extenuating circumstances. Instead, they expected us to increase our outreach efforts to struggling clients, without taking into account their own difficulties. Moreover, the leadership team at FullStory made questionable business decisions. One such decision was the sudden introduction of an Account Management team, which unfortunately proved to be a failure. The implementation of this team resulted in reduced base pays and commissions, while maintaining the same monthly/quarterly quota as Account Executives. Despite the concerns expressed by the sales representatives to both leadership and HR through multiple channels, their feedback was disregarded. Consequently, within a short period, the Account Management team saw a significant drop in numbers, with only three members remaining out of the original eleven in just two and a half months. My advice to FullStory's leadership is to genuinely care about their employees and embody the values they preach, such as empathy and trust. Currently, it appears that FullStory is in a desperate state, deviating from their original principles. Personally, I didn't learn anything new from FullStory, except how to sell aggressively, potentially leaving clients with a negative impression. This approach does not align with my personal values or how I prefer to conduct business with. I wish FullStory the best of luck in learning from their mistakes. However, it seems unlikely with the current leadership in place.
