Pros
Most of the people are amazing, if you get to meet them. You can meet a lot of people through licensing contacts, events, etc. Product is fun, but they make the same product over and over. A perk is you might get OLD product they are unable to sell or move because consumers don't want it.
Cons
Leadership is incompetent and it never changes. No one has any idea what is going on or who does what. They change directions every week. Every single day. Every hour. You will work on something only to have it totally disregarded, but thanks for the pretty PowerPoint. No one lets experts be experts. If you are an incompetent white male, raging narcissist or a friend of someone, you seem to fall upwards. You will receive zero training or feedback (good or bad) in anything you do. You will try again and again and never be noticed. Only to have them hire a friend over you or whatever shiny new toy is there that week. Quality work and results don't get you very far. Majority of people managers have no business managing people as they severely lack that skill set. Huge egos and power trips are so common, anyone who isn't that way feels off. Lack of care is an understatement from management. They will just blame you for anything that is not selling. Nothing is planned out or thought through. New product lines fail over and over. The fan base is super fun and passionate, but extremely entitled and are tired of the same products. Customer service seems to do very little in assisting with product complaints. HR is the worst department. They do absolutely nothing and are easily the most inept. You do not know who your business partner is because the turnover rate is so high. People and culture could use some training in people. This is a shame because this company has some truly talented people who will never get the recognition they deserve. If you want to advance your career, this is not the place for you. They will tell you change is coming just enough, but rarely occurs.
