Pros

- Great talent joined with some of the recent acquisitions - Work/Life balance is okay

Cons

- Print shop mindset is still alive and kicking. - Zero innovation. - No growth opportunities. - Fear mongering and top-town management approach. - Wrong people making important decisions. Bad calls are made across the board. - People are treated like cattle. No respect for anybody, no matter what role or level. - Disorganized and mismanaged.

Pros

- Unlimited holiday (although I know some managers do cap it) - Fairly flexible working environment and working from home is an option is agreed with manager - 3 month sabbatical at 5 years of service if wanted - Share incentive plan - Living wage employer - Monthly munchies (free lunch once a month) - Christmas closure - Yearly bonus if we hit our targets (which we have for the last two years)

Cons

- IT systems are not robust enough for the size - Still not on Adobe CC despite being such a large company - Some of the teams are disjointed from the rest of the company, with so many acquisitions it takes a lot of time to get people to work in a more standardised way

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We believe we have some great employee benefits in place. We recognise that there is room for improvement in terms of some systems and resources and we are working hard to make it easier to work at Future.

Pros

Talented, passionate, collaborative colleagues across editorial teams

Cons

Senior management communications atrocious prior to, throughout and post acquisition; unrealistic expectations on impact of acquisition and redundancies; redundancy process abysmal - no respect for brand's past nor the contribution of the editorial team; not enough consultation on role and responsibility changes; under-appreciated from start to finish; gimmicky values, full of clichés that don't mean anything.

We are actively trying to improve our Company communications, in fact we are in the process of appointing a Communications Manager who will lead the evolution of this.
