Passive Aggressive Management & Team, not much inclusion/diversity on the Corporate end.
Pros
-Some good peers are encouraging. -Some opportunities to learn, Work from home & now hiring outside of Alaska. -free internet -competitive pay for Alaska based on the team I was on.
Cons
- Corporate Management & Team were passive-aggressive, I was made an example of, berated by management. - was bullied on the team I was on. - no work-life balance. - not much Inclusion, but they are just now addressing it on the corporate side. - if you're not part of the "click", you are an outsider, careful what you say if you work corporate side. - work culture was toxic on the team I was on "Unfair training, rules change constantly, new responsibilities all the time. Right now it is about throwing someone else under the bus so you don’t get steamrolled with all the changes. Everyone is afraid of losing their job due to not being able to keep up with the changes." <- still true for the tech jobs at GCI.
